Four branches. One ecosystem. Many ways to build.
Every First Sunday in Philadelphia and virtually from anywhere, people gather to practice the world we’re building — through music, community, political education, and collective action. Throughout the month we host and support a range of Freedom Building activities. The Church of the Revolution is Ubuntu Freedom’s first branch — a the place where the principles come alive in community. Find your people. Find your place.
Starting with a focused foundation this summer, we’ll gradually expand our network to support projects, campaigns, and communities aligned with the Principles of Freedom. As we develop this tool together, we’re prioritizing security, accessibility, and community ownership.
UFree will make it easier to discover local initiatives, share resources, and coordinate actions.
UFree will facilitate building relationships between those committed to realizing a more interconnected, liberated world.
Complete our “Get Involved” form and include your social media handles to join the waitlist for early access. Together, we’ll build this digital infrastructure that supports our vision for freedom.

First Immersion Retreat: 2027

Seed & Harvest creates immersive experiences
Seed & Harvest creates immersive experiences where we live the world we're building while developing the skills to make it reality. Our first work-learn-reflect retreat in 2027 will bring together participants with diverse skills to complete a meaningful Freedom Building project while deepening our understanding of the Principles of Freedom, communing with nature, and connecting with each other. We'll strengthen both the people doing the work of transformation and the spaces where that transformation takes root through:
- Hands-on creation
- skill-sharing
- Communal Living

We Welcome proposals!
We're currently seeking proposals from organizations and communities to host our inaugural retreat. The ideal project will embody the Principles of Freedom, create lasting infrastructure for liberation work, and be completable (or reach a significant milestone) within a one-week intensive. As you consider submitting a proposal, please include:
- Project Description: What would be built and how it serves your community
- Principles Alignment: How your organization embodies Ubuntu Freedom values
- Resource Assessment: What materials, tools, and funding you can provide vs. what you need
- Fundraising Capacity: Your ability to participate in resource generation (not required but helpful)

Proposal Info Continued
- Site Details: Location, accommodations, facilities, and workspace information
- Community Impact: Who will benefit and how this project advances liberation work
- Environmental Factors: Typical weather conditions, political climate, accessibility considerations
- Support Needs: Specific skills, expertise, or resources required
Your ability to provide all resources doesn't determine the qualification of your proposal. We're committed to finding the right balance of need and capacity as we launch this transformative program. Submit your interest in proposing a project through the "Get Involved" form, and join us in building the infrastructure for the world we know is possible.
The Care Space Project is being developed into a Cooperative Venture that will be owned by the community it serves – the Movement Community that works for our Greater Good. Sign up so that when we launch, you’ll be invited to provide care (offer a space of respite or a healing service, or to provide access to your gym, or a show, or other event), so that those who are doing the work to Free Us All can keep going.
